The Professional Organization for Medical Office Managers
Winston-Salem Medical Group Managers is an active professional organization of medical office managers from practices with more than three physicians and provides a forum for management skills enhancement. Meetings are working lunch sessions held generally on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM. The cost for membership is minimal and the group warmly welcomes new members.

Each month a guest speaker addresses topics of specific interest to medical office managers. Topics include such things as maintaining staff morale, billing issues with insurance carriers, employee benefits or the legal aspects of discharging an employee. Time is provided for members to ask questions and share problem-solving techniques. Networking is a major benefit to members.
